again, I really could care less if you think slotted ports are so much more effective than round ports, your entitled to you opinion, and Im glad you dont like my build.....I think is pretty ****ing awesome considering the space i had to work with and my lack of experience, have fun picking away at the new people on this forum, probably why people dont make it past 50 posts......

i was giving my honest opinion, i wasnt trying to put down your build. I didnt say slots were better than round ports, but you dont have enough port area with those round ports.

first off, this is my first build, and I dont want to completely write off my trunk as unusable....second, If you read ANY of my posts you would have seen that I talked to RUSTY from dc and he said the level 4 sound great in as little as 2.5 cf each, I have them in a 6 cf SHARED box, its more than enough just like the three round ports I chose to use give more than enough air flow. Like I said in two post, the subs sound great, and hit clean and low......so what are you trying to prove here?
if your know so much, you design a box with these measurements, ill build the box and tell you if it makes any difference,

length 36

depth 29

height 15

tuned at 34hz please

Like I really care what you think of my build, I like it and thats all that matters......

you do care what people think of it and thats why you made a build log.

If i really thought you would build it, i actually would come up with a design that i think would work better.

I made a build log because Im proud of my accomplishment, you where the one saying "he shouldn't post here if he doesn't want people to pick him apart" I was simply clearing up that I never made such claims that your opinion bothered me, I dont know why your assuming its bothering me, Im telling you with my skills I could not figure out how to fit a slot in and if you can get me a bigger slot port with 6cf than id love to build it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif im taking your advice into consideration man.....

so lets see what you can come up with....

a thing to keep in mind though...

on the angle of the face, I will have to be able to put the subs in with out the spider or the motor hitting the bottom, what I did was I added a 1.5 inch strip to the bottom length and i connected the face to that instead of connecting it the the bottom length. than I cut part of the bottom length on a angle so that the box just barly fits in my car....

lulz, im sure he has enough port area. Let me guess, because you think 3 3" aeros have less area than the slot port for the same tuning, you think its not enough.

Did you have to use 90s to obtain enough port length? Or did the enclosure volume make for you to obtain proper tuning without much length?

Man you just showed your ignorance. Its the same thnig, these just are not flared. and flares are not necessary, they just reduce noise if you have a noise problem. What do you think PSP aeros are, they are PVC with a thinner wall. Why do you think the PSP-Inc calculator gives lengths for both flared and unflared.

Now since you dont realize this. 3 4" aeros are better than 1 12" aero so do you think a 12" aero isnt big enough too, he might have too much port area.

a 12" aero would be about the same as 9 4" aeros, so i dont know where you are getting your numbers.
