Yeah i am 17, but i dont act all high and mighty like i know everything either. His build is nice, its not perfect but it suffices his needs and thats all that matters and untill you are nationally recognized for your perfect builds or you are god then you have no right to pick his shit apart.

Maybe he shouldnt post a build log on a public forum for every day people such as myself to see then. Im giving my opinion, whether you or him like it or not.

Ok., then going off your signature. Your car is a piece of shit, the Autotek is a pretty low quality amp, better speakers can be had for the money than those MB Quarts, The AQ 2200 isnt enough power for those subs.

Yes, the shadow was a piece of shit and it broke down, i dont even have a car to drive right now. The autotek amp was $25 brand new and it does its job just fine, and the mb speakers were $10 brand new so i dont think i can find better for the money. The 2200 was enough power for the sub i was using it on. My single 12" boxes use that much port area, its not enough for those subs with that power.

review his set up. Whether you like his

set up or not he just wants to hear what

the average bass head has to say.

Its all good no one has the perfect system

so lets not worry about constructive critisizm.

I would want to know what people really think

You could have built inside the trunk and gotten more room. A slot port would have fot on the side easily, and 3 cubes is probably minimum size for them.

first off, this is my first build, and I dont want to completely write off my trunk as unusable....second, If you read ANY of my posts you would have seen that I talked to RUSTY from dc and he said the level 4 sound great in as little as 2.5 cf each, I have them in a 6 cf SHARED box, its more than enough just like the three round ports I chose to use give more than enough air flow. Like I said in two post, the subs sound great, and hit clean and low......so what are you trying to prove here?

if your know so much, you design a box with these measurements, ill build the box and tell you if it makes any difference,

depth 29

height 15

tuned at 34hz please

again, I really could care less if you think slotted ports are so much more effective than round ports, your entitled to you opinion, and Im glad you dont like my build.....I think is pretty ****ing awesome considering the space i had to work with and my lack of experience, have fun picking away at the new people on this forum, probably why people dont make it past 50 posts......

ran pretty good, seemed to stay pretty cool, But I only ran it for a few days, My electrical cant take it, put it back to 2ohms for the time being, waiting for my new batt in the mail, I live in canada and we are limited to some of the cool stuff you guys have in the US.

the difference was loud at 1/4 gain at .5 and loud at 3/4 gain at 2ohm but Im still breaking in the dc's!!! so i haven't gone stupid yet, but as soon as I get my second batt and the subs have primed, I will fill ya in...
