2000 Buick

I have a 1990 buick and it is a pain.

I have to pop off the plastic trim ring around the HVAC controls which gives me access to the woodgrain panel that trims the HU and HVAC controls. 4 T15 torx screws to take that out. Then I have access to the HU. another 3-4 T15 torx screws to take that beast out.

2000 Buick most likely has a one piece dash trim panel. There are a pair of screws under a panel on the passanger side door jamb. ( The flat part you cant see with the door closed, next to the interior fuse panel). Pop those screws out and its friction clips from there.

Try lowering the steering wheel all the way, it should come out easier. Start in the MIDDLE on TOP and work your way out. These panels are not super sturdy, nor is the plastic dash that they attach to.

Get yourself the proper hardware and put it all back together.

I got a 99 last year with 13k on it, i was about to do an audio overhall before i sold it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It looked like a pain, try cardomain, i found someone that kinda showed how to take off the dash in a few pics

Alright- since the op doesn't apparently want to say which Buick- my 02 park avenue that i had (has the same dash as the 00's) was a one piece dash.. if i remember correctly (been a few years) the fake wood grain trim middash comes off, then you unclip the front dash panel, and it has a few bolts, and then its done:)

Hey! What's up!

2001 Buick Lesabre Limited here.

I recently added an aftermarket HU. It was a pain at first but now it's a peice of cake. Here's how I did it.

First the lower part of the dash on the drivers side pulls off, then on the pass side open the door and the dash end snaps mostly off. Open the glove box (there's a screw in there), then the wood grain across the dash snaps off. and look for several screws across the lower dash, and one under and back that needs a long screw driver, about at the drivers knee.

Hope that helps.
