2000-2500wrms @ 1 ohm under $450

Ok I can have a US Amps md3d in my hands for $400 bux brand new. I hear they are also pretty efficient, do any of you have any links to tests or any good info about this amplifier? I will order it tomorrow morning if there are no better deals. If I dont like it I know I wont lose much money.

yes the 2200 is bearly as strong as a RD 1750.1s and not as clean(might be the xovers).. not to mention i can strap my 1750s @1ohm all day..

i would compare the AQ to the hifonics BXI2010D... the RD sundown and AQ have very similar boards.. i don't really care for AQ, but DD kicks ***..

AQ amps arent as overrated as Hifonics amps if they are even overrated. Your RD's are just kick *** amps. But for the price for the AQ it cant be hated on, its in a price league of its own. Also Hifonics isnt a bad amplifier for someone looking for an amplifier to do certain power, they should just keep in mind that the amps will do 80% of rated power. If your looking for a budget amp those are not bad amps. Great watts per dollar deals. But of course they arent the best choice in quality amplifiers and if you have good money to spend.

I doubt i'll be intrested, the US Amps Merlin 3D has got me hooked. Nothing but kind words about them. BNIB $400 on the door step I cant complain, if I dont like it I can always sell it for around that price. But whats the price like on the RD 1750s?

they are orginals with no logo on them.. one is in excellent condition 325+ship. they other i let a friend borrow and he didn't tighten one of the wires good(speaker output side) and it got the plastic mold around the terminals hot and it turned abit brown/black, but it didn't melt it to where it can short, just cosmetic... asking 275+shipping for it.. or 600 for both shipped... I want a single amp 3500+ very clean very efficient... i think my next set of woofers will be a pair of AE AV 15s with some CDT ES07 mids and the ES tweeters... or maybe dynaudio 240gt...lol

I just ordered a US MD-3D and a Kicker 1/0 dual amp kit to add along with my Kicker 4awg kit. I hope the amp is awesome, its the model with the terminals on the sides, not on the bottom. Not sure what year that was. I hope it does rated power and then some. Big 3 and 250A alt to come. And a marine batt in my bed if I cant fit it anywhere else. I was running the HDC315 off one Orion @ 1 ohm (1200wrms) and it was loud, I cant wait to see what it does on 2000wrms.

Oh you got the newer MD3D's. Should be on par, maybe a little less efficient, but I have the older MD3D with the power inputs on the bottom, and that thing stays cold at 2 ohms. I'd imagine it would only be warm at 1 ohm on good electrical. You'll love the amp.
