$200 budget setup

My uncle gave me $200 to put some tunes in my cousins car. She just turned 16 & he bought her a '01 Kia Sephia. I have all the wiring, mdf, etc. here & she already has a Pioneer DEH-1400 h/u for it. So that leaves me the full $200 for speakers & amps. I won't charge him for the installation or the wiring/box materials, he spent numerous hours helping & teaching me when I was building my '00 Z28's motor.

This is what I've come up with so far, what you fools think. And fyi, he doesn't care what I buy as long as it's new & has warranty. So no used gear.

You should save up $100-$200 for speakers & deadener to a least do it right

1 8 should be cool. i had 1 12.. but with a tad more power... the hi's/mids were stock and they were giving the bass a hard time
