20 free hours of shop time...

Since I have these free hours of shop time coming to me, I want to deaden my front doors and trunk lid. I want to do it before I upgrade my front components. I don't think I will need it anywhere else, my car comes very well noise deadened from the factory, being the Japanese Cadillac lol.

How much material will I need for the front doors? What about the trunk lid? I was thinking either the Stinger stuff off Amazon or the Knukonceptz stuff.

How much do you think I will need?
Enough to cover 25-30% of each area you're deadening. Use it with ccf (closed cell foam) and mlv on the doors for solid door treatment. I use the ccf on trunk lids wedging it between any 2 pieces of metal where they are tack welded or where they could potentially vibrate against each other. Then add the deadener over the area. You really don't have to blanket the whole area you're doing.

get knukoncept colossus, some the best stuff for the money. If your gonna do it, do it right, since its free labor too. do the whole car. Like cscstang said, use mlv and ccf too.
