2 yellowtops & 1 redtop ok?

I've got 2 big yellowtops under the hood right now in my truck. I have a smaller redtop sitting in the garage. I was thinking of adding it behind the seat with my amp. Good idea or bad?

Oh and I have a 165amp alt as well.

That was my thought too, lol. I'll be running a kicker 2500.1 to 4 RL-p 12", and a kicker 300.2 to 4 mach5audio 6.5.

i'd just throw it in.

you should be fine.

if i can run 4k off stock 100a, i know u can run that setup.

can also do 2+ runs, sometimes that helps.

Sounds good. I do currently have 2 runs of + and to of - straight to the frame.

Not same brand, but same exact model of batts.

If you mix red and yellow tops, you will risk shortening the life of all you batts. You must isolate the red and yellows.

Personally, I would sell your red and get the same yellows you have under your hood to put in the trunk. Then you don't have to worry about problems.

Technically, you would have to replace all 3 batteries with new ones if you didn't want to use an isolator. The older batteries will have a lower resting voltage and they will not charge the same as a brand new battery. This can also shorten the life of the batteries.
