2 vs 1

I have a Treo ssi15 on 1200watts in 4 cuft box, now I want two but my trunks too small for another ported box anywhere near that size. Would 2 of these subs in a sealed enclosure be that much louder than the current one in the 33hz enclosure? I'd be giving the 2 1000 watts a piece as opposed to the one getting 1200

Not necessarily, he's going from one ported to two sealed... hard to tell

I don't think it's worth the money. If you listen to lots of rap it should be a lot louder down low, like below 30hz, but above that I don't know if it will be much louder. id say you would be alittle louder, but idk if it would be worth it........

. about double the power + 3db

. double cone area +3db

.sealed - 3d from ported

so id assume you would gain about 3db but no way to really tell to many variables.......
