First I have an issue with a yellowish haze on the outside of the headlights....can I just use a buffing wheel to get that off??

Also, after I waxed my car, I noticed I got some on the side molding....car is silver, molding is black, now has a couple swirl looking white marks.....any idea how to get this crap off??

the healights, you can use soapy water and 800 or 1000 grit sandpaper. Rub it with it for a minute all around then wipe it off with a dry towel. Use some kind of hardwoord floor cleaner or something like that (liquid kind) and wipe it on there until you no longer see it. Just keep repeating and most of it will come off depending how bad it is.

just polish the lights with the same cut and polish you'd do the rest of the car with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
noooo

do yourself a favor and get plastic polish

Just buff the headlights out with a compound, plastic polish or not it does not matter. Then polish them. and paint thinner will take the wax off your side mouldings.

wetsand lights 800 to 3000 grit in stages, then use a compound to get rid of haze that sandpaper made.

polish.

or go out and buy a lens restorer at autozone. for 10$ you cant beat it. works great.

Brother.. Some people here have no idea how to detail a car properly... Use Mothers Plastic Polish on the headlights, with a Mothers PowerBall Mini. And for the wax residue on the trim, use Mothers Back To Black. It may take a few applications to get rid of the wax residue. From now on, try putting your protectant on your plastic trim pieces before waxing it.

I laughed at this... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/santa.gif.e1ec9cf2e0a0dd232ad35aa594a126d0.gif Have to watch what you say.

I detail cars for a living. 7 days a week / 10 hours a day.

So do I. I do everything for about 65 dollars, and I mean everything. I don't know what you charge...

When I detail a car, I do:

Washing, cleaning rims, inside of door jambs, inner area of fenders, tire wet, clay bar it or pre-wax cleaner depending on how long it's been since the car has been cleaned, sealer and glaze to fix spiderwebbing, pure carnauba wax to protect the sealer and increase shine, vacuum interior and apply protectant to dash and door panels as well as kick panels, clean under the hood, apply chrome polish if custom chrome rims, apply plastic polish if factory clear-coated wheels or painted wheels..

Shit if you were closer...I'm feeling lazy...
