2 tens??

Right now I have to kicker Cvr 10s wired at 2 ohms from an infinity reference 611a. They just arent getting loud. The boxes are just to small and there is no way I can get bigger boxes in my dakota 4 door.

I cant find two tens that will work and get loud in this application.

box .7 cf, subs can only have a 6in mounting depth, and has to have an excursion of less than 14.15 millimeters. Wattage isnt to important i can upgrade amp as long as their over 350 watts a peice at 2 ohms.

Can somebody give me 2 tens that will be loud and work with this.

ssds

I was looking into the ssds, im nervous that they might have to much excursion and hit the back of my seats. Do they get loud in sealed boxes

they do have alot of excursion. i have yet to try them in a sealed enclosure, but i just recently decided im going sealed after always ported.

at low volume tho, they get loud and hit deep, with bearly any excursion. its prob b elike..1/16 inch. that info wont help you in the least, but its cool and something i noticed

Haha yea i dont plan on playing them low to keep em from hitting the back of my seat. Ill keep lookin into those

if nothing else tho, recess the face of the box 1/4 or a 1/2 inch

or pull your seat one click forward

Seats dont move, cant do anything else to the boxes, had metal and carpet cut just to get them to fit plus the amp there is really no more room to do anything.

Would a kicker CVX 10 work? Does anybody know if these have about the same excursion as a cvr. Mounting depth will work.

mount the amp elsewhere and build a different box

Still wont change anything, the seat brackets are in the way. The amp is just in the middle. Trust me there is no room back there. Only option I have is new subs just need help with some good choices. The boxes were custom made only for my type truck because no other size or shape box would or will fit.
