2 tens or 1 fifteen- your opinion???

ok asking for my friend- he wants to know which he should buy, 2 ten inch l7 solobarics of 1 fifteen l7?? he has a good 1200 watts to push whichever, and 4 or 5 cubes of space to work with, he wants ported, which do you guys think would be louder? thanks

One 15" is going to offer better low end response and will be as loud if not louder than the 10's. IMO

thats the same thing i was thinking, especially with a 5ft box ported, even if tuned pretty low with 1200 watts should be pretty loud.....its cheaper than 2 tens as well, thanks

**** u classic- this is a really legitimate question, its kinda a big decision as well. I think 5 cubes is enough for one 15. anyway, i would make him get 2 15s if he had the space, but 5 cubes isnt enough for 2 solo 15s ported...
