Sold 2 TC Sounds 12" TC2 Subwoofers. Blown

I have two TC Sounds TC1000's. They are both blown because I had the wrong screws in my downfiring box in my truck, so they wiggled loose and went free air. I was planning on repairing them and building a ported box for my HT setup, but I just dont have the time nor do I have the HT knowledge to make it properly.

They have different baskets. One has the 12 spoke basket and the other has the 4 spoke basket. Other than that, they are identical, from what Thilo says at TC Sounds. They are both single 4 ohm voice coil subwoofers.

Cosmetically, they are an 8.5 out of 10. Just need to be reconed. They would work perfectly for a HT or car audio setup.

If you know TC Sounds, then you know the TC2+ motor is a very sought after motor that offers the lowest distortion out of most subs if not any sub. They are built to handle 500 watts rms, but people have easily thrown 1000 watts rms at these without a problem. I had my Tantrum 1200.1 at them and they wanted more power. Just cleaning out my closet.

But my post referring to the TC2+ motor is one of the lowest distortion rated motors is correct. They were and still are a very well sought out motor not only for car audio, but for Home Theater too...

But again, thanks. Your post dumping definately doesnt have any positive influence to me trying to sell some of my stuff so that I can pay off my attorney from my car accident.

When I was referring to the post of these motors being the lowest distortion rated motors, I was referring and quoting I might add, about the TC Sounds line, not other manufacturer's.

So you wouldnt put the TC2+ motor in the catagory of lowest distortion ratio around? Really? Since when did this change?

Im not in a pissing match. What the hell is going on here in these threads here now-a-days? I go away for a couple years and I come back and everyone is so eager to bash one another.

If someone wants it shipped via USPS, then fine, so be it. Why do I care? Did you really just ask that question? Did you not read my post above about my issues over the years using USPS? Why do I care? Because I care about shipping items that are heavy, could easily be broken by being thrown around, lost, damaged, whatever that I sell on ebay, this message board, or anywhere else. Why would I want to use a shipping service that I feel uncomfortable with shipping a 20 pound subwoofer?

And honestly, stop post dumping on my thread guys, seriously. This thread was created for someone interested in two great TC2+ 12" subwoofers that are blown. Easily repairable and Thilo will have the parts in next week to fix them. I am just trying to sell whatever I can in order to pay for my medical bills from my car accident.

First of all. I didnt say they were the #1 lowest distortion subwoofer. I simply said, its one of the lowest distortion subs out there. And you may have to excuse me being out of the car audio message boards for the past couple of years, but I do remember that this was a statement that many stood by not only on this message board, but by Thilo over at TC Sounds who is very well respected individual.

So what if I am off on the shipping. I havent shipped anything heavy or a subwoofer in a while. Last time I shipped a sub, it was an RE SX 15" sub and it cost me $50 to ship ground. Mind you, I created my own wood crate to ship it in. I was just throwing out a guestimation of shipping cost. Im not looking to make money off of the shipping. Ill charge the EXACT amount of however much it is to ship the subwoofers. No big deal.

Im pretty sure with me being on this thread, bought and sold numerous items on this thread, I would get a little respect and not battling about this.

I have 9 listed, yes. Is that all of them, no. Sorry, but I dont have the time to go back and find every deal that I have done. How about the rules that you are breaking?

- Post dumping will not be tolerated. Any post dumping will result in a 7 day ban. No warnings.

- If you are not interested in the item DO NOT post whether they need to post pictures and what not. Doing this will result in a 2 day ban. Report the thread if it breaks a rule.

I'm not screwing up your sale or post dumping, just mentioning that you are breaking the rules, spreading false information about the product you have and are trying to simply inform you that shipping won't be near as much as you think it is.

I do know that shipping prices have shot up. That's why I switched to USPS. I always pack items extremely well and I have never had an item break in transit with any company.

That's a box 14x14x8 and 20 lbs.

No offense or anything.

I'll honor that shipping price. My shipping cost was just a guesstimation. I prefer UPS or FedEx over USPS for something like this, but whichever you would like is up to you.

There are ways to let someone know that shipping prices may be a bit off. You can post and let me know in a respectful way or you could PM me... But no, PMing me would mean that you wouldnt get the ability to try and out me infront of me.

So you think this scenario is ok? On your way to buying a laptop, stop by a Ford Dealership during a big sale (im referring this to a big sale because this thread is exclusively for my two subwoofers) and tell everyone that their price of their trucks are off my $100? Im trying to make this as much of an apples to apples scenario as possible. Even though you arent even interested? I mean really? I said $30-40. is that really that far off? UPS says to Iowa, with my box dimensions and weight with UPS ground is a little over $23 per subwoofer, now that I checked. My bad. I thought shipping had gone up alot. Sorry, Im not in effing Logistics. So I was off $7-$17 on my shipping.

I myself did read the rules. And it said that you must post pictures, price, etc... so I listed the price. Most threads on here post, for example, $250 + shipping. I was trying to be a bit more accurate. I was giving a definitive price to what I was selling. I guess thats where I went wrong with you huh? Guess I learned my lesson. Ill just say "+ shipping" Then the buyer is going to ask, how much for shipping? I hate going through that battle. When I was dealing on the boards over the past numerous years, we posted what the shipping price was. Now we have the option to input the information such as weight and demensions, which I dont have yet, and get a quote. Ever got a quote and it was less than the actual price? Thats what I was trying to avoid. Oh stupid me for trying to make it a simple transaction.

So if you are not interested in my subwoofers, get out.

There, I updated my references. Happy now? Jesus. Never in my life have I been so harassed for trying to sell an item in my entire life. I have 11 people in there. Im done searching through the boards. I found the 10th and figured Id throw in the 11th just to be an overachiever.
