Like mentioned about, apples to oranges.. The hdcs are geared more for spl/ streetbeat setups, but still sound decent.

It is flexible - either works great.

z15 gets my vote, just cause im not a fan of HDCs tuning.

That amp isn't enough for 2 hdc318's. The one that I have has really stiff spiders and it takes some juice to get it moving.

saz3500 should be plenty for copper hdc3's...

the z15's are rated at 1000w rms. why not go with nightshades? i realize they are more expensive.

but between the two you have listed, the 2 18"s "should" be louder due to cone area.
