2 Subs: Dual Slot Port OR Single Slot Port?

Im going to have a ported box built for my 2 12w6v2's. JL reccomends a tuning of 32hz. The builders design consists of a single larger slot for both subs, while still being tuned to 32hz. Does it matter if its dual or single if tuning freq is the same?

Dont think so, just with a single port make it have more area.

seems a single slot port would be a lot easier. there is definitely no reason not to just do a single one.

go with a single port and single chamber

Do single port/single chamber if you plan to always run both subs. However, if you do dual chambers/dual ports you could run one sub if another one was out.
