2 subs @500wrms or 1 sub @1000wrms?

So here is my current set up:

- Alpine type-r 12, 600wrms model

- MRX-M50, pushes 500wrms

Here is what I am considering:

1)

-Add another 4-ohm 600wrms Type-R 12

-Add another MRX-M50

-Buy new box

2)

-Buy one type-r 12, 1000wrms model

-Buy one MRX-M100, pushing 1000wrms

-Use same box

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
