2 Soundstream 10's or single 12w6v2 ?

Trying to decide if I want to pull my 2 awesome sounding Soundstream 10's from my trunk and replace them with a single 12w6v2. The 10's sound awesome but I would love to get some of my trunk space back. Since everyone loves pictures...

Thoughts/opinions?

I'm a SS nuthugger so I say stick with the 10's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Too bad they aren't 12's or I would be interested in them. Love the tarantula logo.

If you want to go with a single 12, I would go with anything but JL for price alone. Not that their stuff is bad, but you can get a really nice sub for the same money.

Fi Q, Sundown, RE, AA, IA, etc.

I too love me some SS, I've run SS stuff for years. I guess a part of the equation I left out is the Mmats 500.2 I have powering the subs. I've been thinking about a Sundown 12 also, my buddy just switched out his 2 10's for a single 12 and says is sounds amazing. The only reason I mentioned the JL is there is someone local selling one with a box built to spec for the price of the sub alone.

Keep the SS's. As far as quality and SPL go, you're getting more from the soundstreams in SPL and on par for quality. JL audio isn't bad, but they are very overpriced thanks to CarToys.
