2 shivas or one brahma

I think i want to go with adire but i dont know what i want to do. either get 2 shivas or 1 12 inch brahma. i have a visonik 1000 watt amp if that helps at all. thanks. also is this a better decision than 2 hx2 rockfords.

My personal choice would be the one brahma.

Reasons:

1. Less space. (much less)

2. Given enough power, can hold par with two shivas.

3. Sounds better to my ears.

well i noticed that the brahma is 1600 watt rms and the shiva is 650 max and my amp is 1000 max i believe. i dont think visonik would rate their amps at rms. or does anybody do that i dont know. but to the point, should i get the one brahma or the two shivas with the amp that i have. would the brahma be getting enough power to sound as good as two shivas or not. thanks for any input.

also i just saw those elemental k series on the website. im wondering if they would be better than the shivas. if so should i get the 2 or 4 ohm. thanks

do you have the 800xd or 900xd? if so, theyd be a good match. the rms rating is fairly high on the brahmas, but you dont need to feed them THAT much. depending on box size, you can get them to move to xmax with only 400 watts.

when you say 800xd or 900xd are you talking about the amp. if so those numbers dont make sense. i have the 4308 1000 watt amp. but it says on a site that it has 4 x 360 Watts RMS at 2 ohm but my subs right now are like 400 max so if it was 360 rms then whouldnt my subs be blown by now. those seem like max ratings.

also what do you guys think about those elemental k compared to the shivas
