well you already have the two 1500s. Just depends at what ohm you need your power 2 or 1 ohm?

also one amp would be easier to wire than two. But the 3000d is also a big ass amp and mounting could be an issue?

I really think it comes down to install.

3000d

Pros, one set of power and ground and speaker hookups.

Cons, rather large amp takes up space.

1500d

Pros, Smaller amps easier to mount in various places.

Cons, two amps require twice the power and ground wires, plus everything else to strap them together.

depends on what ohm load you need. 2 1500d's strapped have to final load of 2 ohm, and 1 3000d has to be at 1 ohm for most its power

3kd is cleaner but 2 1500d's will put out a bit more power. I'd do the 3kd just to make everything simple.

the 3k will not produce as much power as 2 1500d

we tested the 3k to only do 2700 clean

and the 15 actually did 1600 clean non clipped.....measured with amp clamp and osciliscope..

Interesting. Jacob claims over 3k at 10.xx volts, if I remember correctly?
