I'm thinking of running two of the aforementioned amps to 2 Fi Q 12's .. I'm really new to wiring and car audio in general, but I have a lot of free time and want to do this myself because it seems cool. What am I looking at as far as my charging system to run a combined 3000 watts? Also any other setups you'd prefer for a tahoe with 3rd row seats removed?? TIA

upgrade your charging wire from the alternator, ground wire to the engine block. Use 1/0 wire to run from the front battery to the amps location. It is also a good idea to add a 2nd battery as 3000 watts will quickly discharge a stock battery and overload your alternator. Do a search on big 3 to give you and idea. This will be a good start.

Hey DBDRAGGUY; thanks!! Oh yeah Big 3 is going down too with just reg welding wire.. but as far as the rest of the system, would it be ok with out having to do any other upgrades ?

2 Q's would be fine off a single 1500D, especially at .5ohm if you have the electrical to support it. 2 amps would be overkill.....

I concur, the Qs not a heavy power drinker, a 1500d at .5 ohm would run a pair of the 12s nicely, esp in a SUV. Upgrade the alt, and run a second batt in the rear and you should be good to go.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
