They have some new gloss black and candy apple red out right now...did they ever make the klmx wire in red would love to get some of that
I'll need it if I decide to run another GP3000D Pro...Why 3 runs if you don't need it?
it is, I have a long run of kolossus from my batt to the back, fleks and hyperflex in my house waiting for my wife's car, and I had klmx but sold it because its lack of flexibility annoyed me. I've used them all, fleks is way betterIts actually not, I probably have 75+ feet in my car, and I love the stuff.
I won't have to make any kind of sharp turns with my runs going to the bed of my truck. I'll be using the fleks from the batts to my amps, and also for the grounds from my amps to batts and then to the frame.i would get the fleks its easier to work with
as soon as i got my hands on some KLMX i sold that shi't asap
I've had the flex before and it can wrap around my finger...no doubt it's better wire, but is it worth spending an extra $100-125 over the KLMX when I really don't need the extra flexibility?it is, I have a long run of kolossus from my batt to the back, fleks and hyperflex in my house waiting for my wife's car, and I had klmx but sold it because its lack of flexibility annoyed me. nope, I already think 3 klmx runs to the back/fleks to the amps is a great idea.I've had the flex before and it can wrap around my finger...no doubt it's better wire, but is it worth spending an extra $100-125 over the KLMX when I really don't need the extra flexibility?
well the thing is that im very picky when buying stuff, if it doesnt bother you at all then go with the KLMX.. and like u said ''it'll save you money'' .. so i would suggest going with KLMX, no doubtI've had the flex before and it can wrap around my finger...no doubt it's better wire, but is it worth spending an extra $100-125 over the KLMX when I really don't need the extra flexibility?
Do you have 3 alternators? If not then what's your logic behind the 3 runs. If you're thinking you will have a hell of a lot less voltage drops, you're wrong. It will be very minimal. I'm assuming you have a fairly decent bettery bank, so I'm not seeing why 2 runs would suffice. Your single battery under the hood really is just another addition. The most things getting the strain will be your back batteries. I say 2 runs of flex, working with the klmx is a headache. I regret ever getting the kolosus.I'll need it if I decide to run another GP3000D Pro...
i just did **** didnt see that only have one color but more strand count and cheaper in 50' rollHave you looked into the shock industries wire on CACO. 50ft spools pretty cheap.
I have a good sized battery bank(about 540ah worth of reserve), and a Kinetik HC2000 up front. I'll also be running a dual stock 160amp alt setup.Do you have 3 alternators?
