Hello all, hopefully you can help me understand what/how this is wired and to what Ohm load it is at the amp...i will include pictures, however my camera sucks so they are not the best...let us continue...

So, i pulled these 2 JL Audio w6v2 D4 coils from a car at work(i work at a used car dealership) and with them came an Alpine PDX 1.1000 amp. They are wired as follows.

Not that you can see real well, but they are wired VC1 - to VC2 - and VC1 + to VC2 + both wired the same way.

Then onto the amp.

Again hard to see however...one of the + wires is connected to one of the - wires then crimped together outside of the speaker plugs. Then one + is in one speaker plug and the other - is in the other speaker plug.

Is this strange, correct, odd, or just plain wrong...if its right then what OHM load is it?

Thanks for any help here, i have never dealt with 2 subs before now and this just seems strange to me.
