Im lookin at 2 of these. but i want to keep my amp. with the same power, they should be louder than my kenwoods correct?

If i get the dual 2 ohm versions, i can wire it down to one ohm and get 900

basically i just wnat to be louder than my kenwood subs right now with the same amp. i have a ported box as well

Don't get me wrong, but just switching out subs (that are probably twice the price of yours) won't net you near what your looking for. Sell your subs/amp, get a bigger amp, and a nice set of SR's, they'll get plenty loud

Are you sure you want to run that amp @ 1 ohm? From what I am reading about the 9103D, Kenwood DOES NOT recommend 1 ohm!

ETA: I take that back.... Just looked at the manual and it claims 1 ohm capable.

Just watch HEAT @ 1 ohm. Make sure your ground is nice and clean. If your amp keep shutting off due to overheating, wire your speakers in series or consider replacing your amp.

The se's will do better on that amp then your current subs, but not $300 better. Your better off buying the se's now, and plan on buying an amp for them as soon as you get the cash (aq1200d's perfect) or get the re sr's (they just loud)

I have a 12" SE dual 4ohm that may want to get sold.....It is in great condition and if you give if 500 or so it will boom. I'm now giving it around 800@2ohms and it slams.

I may fancy selling my box too....I think I want to go with 2 tens.

the audioque is only 870X1 at 2 ohms.

and 1200W x1 at 1 ohm

how could it be that much better than the kenwood. i kno its not the best brand. but the amp should put out what it says. cuz they are cea-2006 compliant right?

im sure the audioque is way better. but the ratings are similar

so shouldnt i just step it up to the next audioque amp.

Cea-2006 means crap.....get a better box and save your money.
