Sold 2 PPI PC2400.2's need repair.

I finally got a chance to test all of my old school PPI PC amps

The good news is the 21400.2 and 4800.2 work great, bad news is the two 2400.2 do not.

I was going to sell one and use the other for a center channel. Since they both do not work I think I'm going to scrap the center channel idea so they are both up forsale.

Both are NOT WORKING but do power up. The seal on the back cover was intact on both amps until I opened them up for pics.

The first one is mint condition cosmeticly but when you put power to it the red light comes on. Not sure what this means but there is no output.

The 2nd amp I would rate 7/10 cosmeticly. When you power it up the green light comes on but the amp whines and there is no output.

I will get pics of the 2nd one in a little bit

I'd like $55 + shipping for the 1st one and $45 + shipping for the 2nd one.

I will sell a complete set of plugs with an amp for $10 more. The 1st amp also includes the original box.

man do I love my pc series amps too....hey I might be interested...can you get a quote on fixing either, maybe take the backplate off to look at the guts, I know the warranty sticker is there but if I could know what the problem is than i would want to pick one up and put it with my pc4400

I will take the covers off both and get some pics of the boards in a little bit.

not knockin you or anything..but I was just referring to my pc manual...did ya have a good ground, and good rca connections...the boards look good tho..

...I'm assuming you hooked it up correctly, I mean the other amps worked....idk

...do those have fuses on the inside..I can't remember

idk what they are called but on the #1 amp the things on the sides, that are 5 and6 in on the coil side....they look discolored on both sides...the other amp doesn't look like that

I miss spoke above, I did not test the 2nd one for output. it came on and started whining and I turned it off without checking the output. I will try and retest tomorrow.

Everything was properly grounded etc...

I didn't notice any fuses inside but I will double check.
