I had 2 subs in my car the polks 12in 4 ohms getting 400 a peice in a somewhat poorly made sealed box so i decided to put my 2 older 10in jbl's in there also in their prefab. The bass can get pretty awesome but like a pervious post it's not really for me also I'm weighting down my car to much. However I still like the ability to get loud sometimes. Although the polk's are designed to perform best in sealed boxes how much SQ do you beleive i would loes if i sold one and put the other in a ported box. Or would 1 15in alpine getting 800 watts in a ported box out perform both polks.
