this is how i will feel when i leave for deployment next year, i hope my family can be there.

even if the scenario in the world scene is not to the citizens of the US's liking, think about the individuals who join the military to get out of a downward spiral, a life that is leading nowhere to do something important, even if they dont agree with it.

i dont agree with the government, but somone has to do it.

im in the navy by the way.

I just went to another one of my old soldiers funerals last week...... died from a EFP .....until you been there and gone thru it and lost personal friends you really would'nt know what memorial day means..

I just wish there was no Gineva (sp) thing. That way we can kick *** and forget about the names instead of losing soldiers like we are. I'm not anti-military, I am anti-holding back (by the government), we shouldnt lose them they way we are. 90% arent dying in a line of fire by bullets whizzing by, but ******* bombers.

Yes, this DOES upset me because a lot of my good friends from when I was 16 to 19 were in the military and I no longer have those said friends.
