2 or 3 15's?

Still can't decide to go back with 2 or what? What would ya'll do, don't do compeititions. Just have a system to show out in honestly, do not do it in town though, keep your bump off the streets. But we have like parking lot competitions. Which would you go with 3 15's or 2 15's for spl strictly?

How much space do you have? 1 or 2 15's installed right will be a lot better than 3 15's without enough airspace...

I would do 2 , giv eit more air room, it would prolly be better than 3.

Got plenty of room. Going in durango minus 3rd row seat.

I'd still do 2 15's or maybe 1 18". Easier to get a workable ohm load, cheaper, less power required, and you're not going to gain that much going from 2 woofers to 3. Then you can do a nice big box with lots of port area.

You sure it wont be that much louder with one more 15? I've already got a custom ported box coming.

Well, You need to double cone area to increase by 3 db. Plus there could be some cancelation/ phasing issues as well. If you already have a box made for 3 15's then that's fine, but I think you could get pretty close to the same SPL with 2 if you're not going to compete. 2 decent 15's properly installed in a durango is going to get loud pretty much regardless.
