I wired my two 4 ohm subs in parallel which drops them both down to 2 ohms... and i wired them to my amp so does that lead to a 2 ohm load still? im thinkin it does

no that makes them 1 ohm. you wired each sub for 2 ohms a piece, so when you wire them both to a mono amp that drops them down to a 1 ohm load for your amp
