ok. so I JUST got new cones for these and make shift fixed them (I shattered the stock cones) went and did some testing on my TL and a few consecutive burps later with only a 146.7 or some crap and the coils are rubbing or something. anyway. tops will need recones. motors are functionally perfect but aren't the best cosmetically. one has some rust on the backplate. both could use polishing but I'm not into looks on speakers at least so I've never even cleaned them once in the 4+ years I've had them lol.

sick subs when built right. I just lost my drive with them today as I just fixed them yesterday. gonna put my AQs back in and do more testing see if I can get over the 150 hurdle somehow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

$150ea motor... screw it $175 shipped each

$50ea basket 2 15"s, one 12" $60shipped each....

$40ea adapter ring to change the topplate bolt pattern from the quick change 4 to the standard 6 so conventional baskets fit. $30shipped only selling the one not attached to the good 10" top

all are obo. just wanna get these fukken things outta my sight. I could get parts and build them but I'd just really rather get rid of them since I'm a little upset atm lol. I'll regret it later I'm sure.. anyway. shipping will be usps priority mail so it won't be super high. I think the motors weight like 35lbs the tops prolly 15lbs boxed up.

only trades would be motors of some more spl oriented drivers and would have to be a pair or something I can get another of. I'm not interested in something I can't recone. if anyone doesn't know these motors are capable of driving a sub over 29mm one way linear as that's the stock rating... if I don't sell them both by the time I calm down I'll put them back in the boxes under the house and order parts to build them up.

here's a couple pix I took this morning before I broke them and a couple old ones. I can sell the 10" 12 spoke basket if anyone wants it..

$28 shipped for just the one (flatrate box ftw)

the 10" d2 top built by FI is still good so I can sell that as an entire neo sub if anyone is interested in it? $250 shipped I suppose.. ran it off a single xp1400d for a few months and never had a problem with it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif gets loud and low too. it's actually the daily sub for my titan in the box the AQs are sitting on in the 1st 2 pix...

edited shipping added and discounts given on all prices....

$150 shipped per motor, $200 for the 10" top on a motor shipped.. shipping is NOT gonna be cheap. these fuggers are heavy and too tall to fit in a flat rate box.. so I'm loosing money on shipping alone. I actually just really want to get another pair of HD3s so I can try for my 150 again.

reasonable offer considered //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so I had some interest for the 12" top. it has a crack in the lower spider. and I had to reglue the spider spacer ring I used gorilla glue as I didn't have anything else on hand. worked fine. and since the top spider wasn't compromised it still functions and being the lower spider I couldn't even hear a difference. I ran it on about 1000rms after and didn't have any problems. just being up front about it. oh and I took pix which I was supposed to take for lancer1978 a while ago lol

the tear is about an inch and a half or a little less I suppose... hard to see. and it didn't spread. it happened when the spider spacer came loose on innitial testing from when I bought it brand new //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif had nothing but bad luck with these storm neo motors besides the FI recones lol

yup 2 of um //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif they all have the 4 hole on top plate pattern for quick change on the storm motors. not the 4 hole in bottom of spoke like the Audiopulse ones..

$50ea basket 2 15"s, one 12" $60shipped each....
I've been looking for 15" baskets like this. This will complete my 15's/neo motor collection. All I need are recone kits!
PM me your paypal info. If you need references, I post at Home Theater Forum under the same ID.

soon to be proud new owner of a pair of 15" baskets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ... I'll leave the coils in, I think they all read fine but they're also the stock coils set at stock location so you'll get a good idea of where to set the new ones //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I only got $10 each after shipping on the 15" tops, I'm GIVING this stuff away so I don't know why any of it is still here... basically the motors with tops will cost me over $100ea to ship. so I'm only getting a little over a $100ea... name another neo motor with a top capable of doing 29mm+ LINEAR 1 way travel for that price that can handle 1,000rms and I'll be happy to buy some for myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'll even pay the extra to ship them TO HI for $250each I'd need like 4 of um //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

its the thin 1/4" slug versions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif supposed to have more rearward clearance from what I hear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
