FYI, I entered 4 SPL drags with the Astro in the vid with a wall of 12 ported Infinity subs run by 2 MA Audio MA HC4001 amps. I won 3 at the R.O.C. and 1at Signature Audio. That was 6 years ago. So Yes I do know a little about this stuff.

I was the 1st of anyone I ever knew when i was 16(29 years ago)to biamplify a head unit and hook up a home woofer to it cus the car sub was not around then. My 1st box was a Pyle pounder. They were the 1st company to ever make a sub box. I know they are garbage now. The logo was a kangaroo.

I just told you I only entered 4 DB drags and won all 4. Do you think I got lucky? Guys would pull in with there Durangos and Suburbans all painted and lowered and everyone would drool over their stuff untill the comp started. Of course I did not want to heat my coils so my system was off untill comp time. Guys there would sit on my windshield and push on my doors to keep the pressure in.

I am not into it heavy anymore as I am OLD. So I never heard of Heavy Hitters mag. They were not around then. I am sure 148/149 is nothing when it comes to the pros but it was good back then for a novice.
