and what do u guys use? really all i know of is blackrain, is that the best one?

Blackra1n is the newest firmware. I did it to my 32gb 3gs and wouldnt go back.

you use winter board to use themes

You use blackra1n to jailbreak it. Cydia, Icy, and Rock are things you download and thats where you get the apps, ringtones, themes and shit like that from. Do a search on youtube. It has everything you need to know.

ya i checked both of em out. still kinda skeptical i guess. cuz nothing really told me what cydia icy and rock are. i watched ty, but he said not to use icy or rock. is there anything different about the 3? and then is winterboard just a seperate download from cydia?

winterboard = awesome for themes.

I jailbroke mine 3 days ago, and will never go back.

It is soooo awesome. 5 item dock + 5 item wide/tall pages ftw

plus i have text message tones now

blackrain is just the jailbreaking program, you use Cydia ( aka jailbroken app store ) to find a app called backgrounder that allows you to run other apps in the background

Ya cuz a friend of mine can be on safari and get a text and hit reply and it still runs safari. Kinda like the droid
