2 l7 10's and 1 sx1250.1 mono amp?

just wondering if the subs would work with the amp and what it might be like insane loud or just thumpin

its 2 10" L7 600/1200 watts rms/max dual 4 ohm

and a kicker sx1250.1 mono amp

They will work fine if you set everything up correctly. What's the subs VC config?

subs would only be able to be wired at 1 or 4 ohms, sx1250.1 puts it's power out at 2ohms. you could get a kx1200.1 which puts it power out at 1ohm. i've got one i'm trying to sell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That amp could POSSIBLY run at 1 ohm. I run my 2500.1 at one ohm and it doesn't cut off; however, it does get warm. With imp rise he may be okay.

edit i noticed how on kickers site it says the sx1250 puts out 1250at 1 ohm and the kx1200 puts out 1200 at 2 ohms?

my bad, i guess the sx1250.1 does put out 1250 @ 1ohm. so that's roughly ~600a piece for the subs. you can go to http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp to help you figure out what combinations of subs can be wired to what. it only have 2 and 4ohms, but subs can come in others like dual 1, quad 1, etc. etc.

yea, 2 dual 4 subs can be wired to 1ohm. but like lakota mentioned, some amps can handle lower impedences than what they're rated for

Your resistance (ohms) will change while music is playing, i.e. when subs are wired to 2 ohms the amp will not always see a 2 ohm load; the load will likely be higher. Playing with a dmm will confrim this. Go to http://www.bcae1.com and do some reading, it will help you better understand how things work. If you have any questions shoot me a pm and I'll try to help you out.

As far as what the setup will sound like, we cannot tell you because its performance will be based on the quality of your install.

KX1200.1 does 1200 @ 1 ohm.

My tuner has this setup in his car(Lexus)..........2 L7 10s and a kx 1200.1 in a bandpass ported through the reardeck...really nice setup.

It thumps nicely but I wouldnt say it was insane in any sense of the word.

I also have 2 sx1250.1s in the forsale section if your interested.
