2 kicker CVR subs.... Need Help

Hey Ya'll... I have 2 Kicker CVR's 12" powered by a Lightning audio LA-1000MD.

Max power:

4 OHMS x1 500W

2 OHMS x1 750W

1 OHMS x1 1000W

My Subs can be either ran at 2 or 4 OHMS

With it being a Mono Block what is the best way to wire this.

Pos. from both to pos on amp with neg from both to neg on amp and then wire pos and neg together on sub. this is a series parelle = 4 OHMS

OR

both positives from each speaker (pos and pos on 1 sub) wired neg and neg on 1 sub wired the pos from both subs on the same side of speaker wire to pos on amp and neg from both subs on same side but opposite side of pos wired to the neg on amp. this is a parelle/ parelle = 1 OHM

Witch is the best of is there any other way?

What is the real power of that amp? You need to wire at 1ohm but I would suggest getting a more powerful amp

im guessing since its that brand he will be getting like 200-300 maybe tops if that but thats just imo

whats with the lighting audio is that ur favorite brand or something? u should look at some of the stuff here u could get a way better amp for the same amount im guessing idk what are ur prices on amps. ask us for help in recommending an amp for you whats your price range that u can spend and we can go from there

Really want to know how your subs are able to be ran at 2 ohms or 4 ohms.

If you got dual 4s your options are 1 ohm and 4 ohms and if you have dual 2s your options are .5 ohms and 2 ohms. Theres no way you're going to have both of those wiring options with a pair of CVRs, whether they are dual 2s or dual 4s, or a dual 2 and a dual 4.

You dont always have to connect both terminals up on DVC subs..you can do one,and only gain 1/2 the power of the sub???

I have never had any issues doing that..I have prob done approx 8-10 sets like that.Worked just fine for me.It is an option to consider at times when you think the sub is completely blown??Try again???Instead of running 2 ohms,4ohms is better than no lows at all !!

Just looked the RMS for this amp:

250 x 1 @ 4Ω

375 x 1 @ 2Ω

500 x 1 @ 1Ω
