2 Kicker CVR 12'' or 2 Memphis PR 15'' for SQ?

Hello, I've done a search but didn't really find the info the way I was looking for it in many threads so I decided to post for once.

Ok now down to business. I'm running a budget system right now and have 2 CVR 12s sealed but a guy offered me 2 PR 15s in a trade straight up for my CVRs. So what I'm wanting to know is if the PRs have a better SQ potential then the CVRs if I run them sealed to specs. Also how about the durability of the PR, is it comparable to the CVR?

i've only heard 1 pr 15, and it sounded pretty good, got pretty loud.........i've heard the cvr's but never really played around w/them.......

i have had a bunch of different kicker subs and loved them, but with all the good things ive heard about the pr's id chance it as long as they're not damaged.

They are both entry level subs, Id take the 15's over the 12's for cone area and displacement advantages. SQ will pretty much be dependant upon the box.

I can tell you that for an enter level sub the mephis PR wont let you down

I would go with the two 15in PRs sealed.

The PRs should be in good condition but I will surely check them out first.

The trade would be subs & box for subs & box, but id be replacing the box ASAP. The reasons he's thinkin trade is because a) the car he's got has a small trunk so the box he's got in there is a little smaller then should be and b) he claims he's tired of getting tickets for loud music with the 15's. Sad but true.

If I ge the PR's my plan is to just polyfill the box he's got now and use it temporary till I build a new box. A new project at almost free is always fun.
