right now im running 2 jl 10w0-08s run parallel and powered by a memphis audio mc500d amp at 4 ohms. i have a cdt hd-1020 ordered and on the way to my house right now, it was a pretty spontaneous buy, but im trying to get some opinions on what would be better. i guess the best way would be to actually hook it up and test, but id rather get opinions before digging my whole system apart if theres no need. i have my subs in a dodge dakota thunderform box that goes under the back seat, which means two things. 1. if i were to switch out for the hd-1020, it would have to be custom fitted with some mdf rings. 2. i'd only have one of the 10" holes filled with a sub. the other would be empty. both systems would use the same amp. so which should i go with? any opinions? thanks everyone.
