1. Product:

Two old school JBL GTi 1200s

2. Specs:

They're from the early 90s and the serial numbers are only off by 5 so they're also from the same batch. 4 inch coil, not much for xmax (7.6mm) so it likes a large vented box. It shares the same basket and magnet as their 2206 pro audio subs; these have a different cone (very stiff!) and perhaps a different coil.

3. Description/Condition:

Both work but I do think they need a recone. One sub's impedance (the one that has blemishes on the cone) reads fine but it has a rattle if you tilt the sub a certain way, it is not rattling as of right now. I cannot get a steady impedance reading on the other one although they both move exactly the same when I play them free-air. Again they do work as-is with no coil rub or anything. Recones can be found if you do an eBay search for JBL 2206 and they run for about $90. The previous owner drilled some extra holes on one of the sub's basket, not sure why. Technically you can recone these into 2206s and have a pair of straight SQ subs or one of the best midbass drivers around (they go for $450 a piece on parts express).

4. Price: :

$150 shipped w/tracking for both, $100 if you come pick it up. These are heavy.

6. Pictures:

(Sorry no name in pic for now, also posted on caco)
