2 HDC3 10's ported box help?

I am about to jump on the hype wagon and try out 2 10" HDC3's, thinking they will be a step up from my type R's. I want to use 6" Aero(precision) ports but I'm not sure on how many to use and how long to cut them to get a good low tuning frequency. I am gonna buy them from parts express http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=268-354 they can make a port up to 17" long. Someone give me an idea on how to get this right. Thanks.

x3, 1500 isn't enough juice for a pair of HDC's. Just get SDC2.5's unless you plan on a bigger amp...

Heres a pick of my box for my HD310's I know its not aero ports but it seems to do the trick. Tuned to 47hz.

This is my first box attempt. I made the hole to big and the sub moved around bout 1/2 inch. and all I had left was enough to cover one side. Current box is for tuning puposes mostly.
