2 eu-700 vs. 1 Rl-i8 vs. Crystal CMP8

What's up ... Right now I am having trouble deciding on a set-up.

Do you think 2 eu-700's will get louder, lower, and cleaner than a single rl-i8 or Crystal CMP8? Both sealed and at their recommended RMS.

I am really looking for a SQL setup (if the L is possible with these subs).

But I haven't heard either one of these subs in person.

And they will be going in a scion tc (its a hatchback)

well when i say loud I mean I can still hear the bass with the windows down, not loud loud. I have 2 IDmaxs for that, in another application...

I am going with 2 RL-i 8s in the back of my tC. I have a RL-p 12 right now but want to save some room. I know Hotcarl did 135db with his RL-i8 with 300-400w.

So if you are just looking to hear the bass I think it will work. Do a search for Hotcarl and watch his video on http://www.realmofexcursion.com it's the only SS 8 on there. Go to http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/ and ask some ? there.

CMP is honestly one of the quietest 8's I've ever messed with...

its a great sounding driver though...

ED can rot in hell before I'd reccomend them to anyone...

well... guess the Rl wins by default...

was hot carl's the ported application? yea i saw that. It was pretty impressive.

bigbassman -- why don't you like ED? Bad customer service experience? The only reason I am considering those drivers is because they fit nicely in a cubby hole in the trunk of the scion like this: (not my pictures/car/etc.)
