2 Different Brand Subs????

I am getting a Cerwin Vega V Max 10 inch 600rms sub and a Profile 1000 watt amp rms 480 bridged for my boat.

The Vega will be under the bow/hood of the boat.

It is repalcing a almost new Pioneer Premiere 10 inch 300RMS sub and a Profile 300rms watt amp bridged

So in other word I will have the Pioneer sub and other amp

I was thinking about putting the Pioneer sub and small profile amp in the back of the boat behind the rear seat....and it MIGHT give it a little more thump

I know the Vega will be LOUDER and that is the one you would mostly here

But wouldnt the Pioneer sub give a little more thump/feel?

Or is this a waste and a bad idea?

You will probably get a shitty substage because of hearing both subs at one time (cancellation). Plus if they are playing the same source, then time delay might make an echo and sound even worse.
