2 cvr 15's or 2 rockford hx2 10's

so i basically got the choice of both of these at the same price.....which ones would you guys recommend?? or which do you feel is the better of the two?

If both are in optimal boxes, the cvr's will be way louder.

Hx2's sound pretty good tho, build quality is better too. Id rather have the hx2s. Are they punch or power hx2?

you're talking about 2 sizes, thats the biggest factor here as well as it being compounded with the hx2's being less efficient

The CVR's are certainly gonna put out more... and boxes are easy to build off the Kicker website...

Their Spl/hi-output box may be too big for your taste... But it will certainly put out the lows...

those get loud on 500 rms... it's a no-brainer if you want maximum output... the punch's are certainly good but to ask a pair of 10's to keep up with a pair of 15's is asking a lot...

The high output kicker boxes are tuned in the 40s. Definately not ideal for low frequency output

So fudge it a little and go with a 5 ft3 net box with a 13.5" x 4" square vent 15.6" long tuned to 35 hz or so... Its a 15" sub... even tuned to 42 hz it's going to go low anyways...

Without putting a the T/S parameters into a program... I'd say 4.5 ft3 ea 54 in2 each ported at 19.5" should be a great start
