I got my hands on a couple more TC9's. Everyone has been VERY happy with the others that I have made so far, so here we go again.

These have been made using VERY heavy duty Dual 2 ohm flat wound aluminum voice coils, dual linear 8" spiders, a VERY strong cone assembly, black 4-spoke baskets, and carbon fiber dustcaps.

These should be good for 1200+ wrms.

who gives a **** what a sub looks like? what matters is its performance and sound quality (if thats what youre in to...) ive never known someone to buy a sub cuz it looked cool that actually knew something about car audio. and personally, i love the looks of that sub. and more importantly, by the way he described it, i would imagine they perform superbly in spl or sql knowing tc sounds materials and quality.

I agree with ya, I think they look very clean as well. But on the flipside, I wouldn't buy a sub that I thought looked ugly either.

I sent my TC9 based sub well over 1.4K and it didnt even fry it.

I was pushing it beyond its limits ( was getting a recone)

I wouldnt say you need that much but it can handle that much

Should weigh in the 30-35lb area. The top assembly is fairly light, its the motor that has all the weight to it.
