2 channel amp with a very small footprint?

wouldnt really match... but the old zed built usa series us acoustics amps are pretty small. about 6 inches wide, a 2 channel that size would only be about 8 inches long.

I have a nice Rodek280(Zed built), i'll get some measurements when i get home. PM me if interested. Specs are 2x80@4ohms, i would say more like 2x100 actual. Fairly small amp.

I ended up going with the arc mini 125.2, now I get to find a creative place to hide that and the SS1 in my impreza wagon. This should be the most interesting install I've done yet.

I think I'll be well under 75 pounds weight gained and almost 100% stock looking install and only about 5% of my cargo area used. I can't wait to get this stuff in...

that arc mini 125.2 is a great choice... could've even gone with a 125.4 bridged for 2x250w@4ohm if you have a little more room //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif That'd be better for a set of beefy components like the power line cs though (they love 250w and can take 350w per side).

Let us know how you like those slim focals!

I have an ARC Mini, as well. It's installed in the glovebox of my Evo IX.

It's good to see someone keeping an eye on the weight. I had a very difficult time finding a lightweight sub that met my expectations. After playing around with numerous woofers/enclosures, I got the sub's weight down to 33lbs with enclosure. Once the weight of the stock system is subtracted from the total, the install added ~45lbs to the car. It's a bit more than I wanted.

I was thinking of one in the glovebox and one behind it somehow. I'll have to take it apart and see what kind of room I'm working with. That looks nice though.

I don't want to lose much performance/gas wise and keeping things looking stock is key. Unfortunately even with glassing I think my sub/enclosure is in the 45 pound range. Not bad, but I was hoping to keep this in the 50 pound range and I think i'll be looking at 70 or so. I guess I'll have to just lose that 20 pounds to make up for it. Ha.
