This is probably a stupid question with a simple answer... Iam going to get some new comps up front (PG RSD's) and a new amp. Later on I want to get some speakers for the back but dont want to right now (Pioneer REV). My question is: If i get a 2 ch 400 watt amp, can I use the one channel for the RSD's (about 200 watts) and just not use the other channel untill i get the back speakers and not screw anything up?

Thank you..

You need two channels for your comps. One left and one right for stereo sound. Now, you could buy a four channel amp and use two now for your comps and not use the other two until you add more speakers or bridge the other two for a sub down the road.
