I havent used these in particular but i would imagine that thay would be amazing for a 3 way setup as long as you have a driver that can pick up at around 800hz of so. i dont know if i would want to put much higher frequencies through these but im sure they wil play them fine. they have a VERY light cone and its very stiff so idk.
