I dont see a 3" 4 layer ALUMINUM coil holding up @ 1500 rms daily...

It's a TC 3hp based sub which can handle 1500w RMS, just like most other 3hp based subs. The weak part of these SW's were the surrounds, nothing else.

x2 mine cracked after getting pounded on for two years by an USA-2000x and everyone knows that amp can do well over 2k RMS. The coil in these SW9122s are pretty tough especially with the cone acting as a heatsink.
