I've got unlimited power for 2 10" subs, and a box that is 2.1 cubes tuned at 30hz. Looking for anything that will take some power and sound good doing it. something like 9510's or dc xl 10's.

Not the same motor as the Digital Designs. Just cosmetic appearance but that is just about it.

Motor diameter, height, weight are identical. Top plate shape, gap size and even cooling channels are identical. What exactly is so different between the dd 9500g motor and the t3 tss motor other than the basket holes?

Maybe because the 9500g has 3 .75" slugs and the TSS only has 2?
