hey i have two MA audio 15HXC's these subs are 4ohm DVC's

and then i have 2 CADENCE TX-A750D 750 WATT amps... that are 1 ohm capable

i belive these amps are strappable and i would like some links regarding how to link these things up! but also

i was wondering if there is a way i can wire up the 2 amplifiers to the 2 subwoofers and acheive 1 ohm.

I would like some links to websites please.. and also any risk involved (perhaps its tough on amplifiers... ) im just a moron who needs some help making a loud system.

So i guess those are my questions and any help would be great

If your cadence is like my Cadence TXA-1000D amp, if you were to strap the two TXA-750D amps the stable impedance level for the amps would be 2ohms. IF you wired two 4ohmDVC subs together you can ONLY achieve 1 ohm or 4 ohm impedance. Since the specs for the TXA-750D is

1 x 275 Watts @ 4 Ohm

1 x 375 Watts @ 2 Ohm

1 x 600 Watts @ 1 Ohm

WHEN STRAPPED -

1 x 550 Watts @ 8 Ohm

1 x 750 Watts @ 4 Ohm

1 x 1200 Watts @ 2 Ohm

if you wired both of your subs to the amps(when strapped) to a 4 ohm impedance you would only get 750 watts. You could try to wire them down to 1 ohm when the amps are strapped(not a good idea) but your amp could go into protection mode, and there is a possibility of it getting f***ed up. If the amps will handle the 1 ohm impedance than you should be ok, but doubtful.

That Site has ALOT of stuff on car audio just go thru the menus

So your saying.. that since the amps support being 1 ohm each.. but technically arnt rated to be strapped at 1 ohm.. its quite possible they will work fine.. and also quite possible i could ruin a amp.... i like those odd's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but am i correct to assume that i can try 1ohm strapped and be pretty safe.. also keep in mind this isnt a Competition car.. just a drive around and have wild bass car.

u can try to run them at 1 ohm strapped BUT MOST LIKELY they will go into protection and wont turn on until the impedance is lowered.
