Alright, so i was previously using a 1000w amp, 12in cvr kicker comp. I'd like to add a 10in 1250w(?) kicker as well. they're both in different enclosures.

The way i have it set up right now (not working)

head unit -> rca cables to the 1000w -> rca cables to the 1250w

head unit -> remote to 1000w -> remote to 1250w

battery -> 4g wire to 1250w

The lights on the 1250w sub don't light up at all. They're both grounded to some place in my car on seperate wires (1000w is under the driver seat, 1250w is in the trunk). The lights on the 1000w still light green, and either sub being plugged into the L/R sound outputs works beautifully. My question is do i need to have the amps set to high pass/low pass or some combination to work together? Did i wire something wrong? any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: if any other information is needed just ask

Do not mix subs or sizes. It'll sound terrible.
Use one or the other, not both.

Edit: Also, max wattage means zip, nada, nothing. Its a marketing gimmick. RMS is where its at.

2x Max

That messed me up on the first amp I bought, not realizing it was max and not RMS.

and 2x on not mixing and matching.

It'll sound horrific. Sell the others, or use it in another car... or something.
