2 amps + 1 remote bass control?

Right now I'm running 1 power acoustik amp with the remote bass control knob up by the dash. I'm adding another amp just like it pretty soon and I was wondering if I can connect the wire from the second control to the wire that is already in there? Or will I have to have two control knobs up front?

Here's a pic if that was confusing.

Basically all I'm asking is if the original control will run both amps if I hook them up like the pic.

Are the amps strappable?

If so, I would figure that you could use the bass knob on the one set to master, and it would have the same effect on the one set to slave.

Or I might be completely wrong- but I dont think Id go splicing wires like that.

Just to be safe, I would run two, unless you can strap the amps together like zahzchw said.

But I would not recomend splicing wires.

usually those are run off normal phone cable, so why cant u get a splitter that has a A/B switch for phones?

This one isn't phone cable, its just a regular wire.

I don't know if they are strappable. They are 2 channel if that makes a difference. Anyone have a link that would tell me a little about strapping amps together?
