depends on what she wants ,the xfl sub will take the power better and get louder .also i can sell both xfl subs for less than 1 w7

For practicality I'd go with xfl. For BADAZZ BALLER STATUS go with JL.

W7 but if you can afford a w7 then there are tons tons tons better options for that kind of money..

Budget? And what amp do you have. If its just your girls car you don't need 1400$ worth of JL Subs in there

Both are great, but JL is a bit more for show, where the XFL's are more practical. If you can get the W7's for a good price though (certainly not what they retail for), I'd run those. Just what I prefer. I like their excursion.
