(2) 8 vs (1) 12

dont really looks like 1 8 could beat dual 12s if both are in the same type of car/truck...

especially 1 8 of 500 watts rms.. especially if the p1s are in a decent enclosure ,setup decent

i had 1 12 off 550 competing against 1 15 geting 500- 1000(no actual number)

my overall was good the 1 15 still sermed to carry the bass a bit furher.

my highs and mids help drown his sound.(as they were amplfied and his were not)

yea, im probably gonna go w/ the SA-12 d2 & feed it 1,000rms @ 1ohm

You could put the SA8's in a slightly larger box to make up for the little lack of power.
I'm gonna go with a single SA-12 d2 & feed it 1k @ 1ohm. I can get it bnib w/warranty for $150......... $300 for 1kw rms + SA-12 is pretty good imo.

It's going in a Jeep, I'm thinking sub up-port back w/ 1.60cu ft @ 32-34hz.

Does that sound about right?
